Computer Upgrade and Repair Services

If you have existing systems that need upgrading, Thoughtful Computer Solutions can perform the upgrade with components supplied or recommended by TCS. TCS can troubleshoot and repair component-level problems with your computer hardware. TCS can apply best practice techniques developed over many years of experience with computers and computer software to rebuild or upgrade your PC and make you more effective and efficient with your computer as a result. TCS will service all major computer brands that are in their original configurations. This service is not available for unbranded computers, reconfigured or upgraded branded computers, "white box" computers, or home-built computers. TCS does not repair individual components.

Common Upgrades and Repairs

Hardware Component Upgrade

Hardware component "upgrade" sometimes means "to make an addition", for example, adding more memory or an add-in card to a PC. Other times it can mean "replacement" such as replacing a mechanical hard drive with a solid state drive. Commonly upgraded components are:

Memory.
Hard drives and optical drives.
Expansion cards (video, network, IO, etc).

Software Upgrade and Installation

Thoughtful Computer Solutions will upgrade or install software for which you have a license for (and you must have the required number of seats) from the manufacturer and for software for which you have authentic installation disks.

Malware Removal

Thoughtful Computer Solutions will make recommendations about malware removal on a case-by-case basis after discussing your situation with you. Sometimes it is better to opt for a reinstallation of the operating system, and perform system upgrades at that time rather than to incur the cost of malware removal.
